Update On Turner Property, Ontario
|Endurance Gold Corporation (EDG -- TSX.V) is pleased to announce that a review historical assessment data on its 100% owned Turner Township Property, located 70 kilometres northwest of Sudbury, has discovered that the pyritic conglomerates, acquired for their gold potential by the Company last year (See Endurance News Release 2005-05) are uraniferous. Work by Harrison Mines Ltd., in 1957, identified anomalous uranium within the pyritic conglomerates, with surface sample results to 0.27% U3O8 over seven feet, and shallow drill intercepts to 0.06% U3O8 over 12 feet. The host conglomerates are part of the basal portion of the Mississagi Formation, the same formation that hosted much of the Blind River-Elliot Lake camp uranium deposits. Endurance, while assessing the property's gold potential, will also evaluate the potential size and continuity of the uraniferous conglomerates outlined to date on the property, as well as complete a property wide evaluation of uranium potential. |
In other news, the Company is awaiting receipt of government permits prior to initiating further work on the BQ Project, located 25 kilometres west of Smithers, in northwest BC.
